Caring for cuts flowers

Hi everybody

We are pretty excited to be here, Our first Brick and Mortar store here at Lynbrook and Lyndhurst

So, we thought our 1st Blog should naturally be about making sure you get the best out of our beautiful flowers…. 6 simple steps

  1. Make sure your vase is cleaned with soapy water and rinsed thoroughly, as bacteria is the biggest cause of disease to your flowers

  2. A tablespoon of bleach will help keep the water fresh and for longer lasting flowers

  3. Fill your vase just under 2/3 of water and some ice cube is a great way to heading them in the right direction

  4. Cutting your stem on a sharp angle will allow more water consumption with a large drinking space

  5. Great idea is to make sure your flowers are not in direct sunlight; the heat will cause flowers to wilt and accelerate aging

  6. Change the water every 3-4 days, trim the stems and add bleach each time

  7. There you have it, longer lasting flowers for you to enjoy
